MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois women's tennis had a standout week as Mana Fawcett and Jessica Hess earned Doubles Team of the Week honors following a strong performance in weekend action. This marks the third time the pair has won Doubles Team of the Week

In doubles play, Fawcett and Hess made their mark against Milwaukee, competing primarily in the top spot. The pair earned the win against the Milwaukee Panthers with a score of 1-0 from retirement, helping set the tone early in matches and providing a consistent advantage for Western Illinois in doubles play. The duo also won against the Northern Illinois Huskies 6-4, clinching the doubles point for the Leathernecks. 

Western Illinois continues its spring season with momentum after a week highlighted by team success. The Leathernecks will hit the road to face Northern Iowa before coming home to kick conference play off against Southern Indiana.
