MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois women's tennis had another strong week as Mana Fawcett and Jessica Hess earned Co-Doubles Team of the Week honors following a standout performance in conference action. The recognition marks the fifth consecutive week the duo has received the award.

Competing at the No. 1 doubles position, Fawcett and Hess delivered a strong performance for the Leathernecks with a 6-3 victory against  Southern Indiana. The win helped secure the doubles point for Western Illinois and helped set the tone early in the conference season.

Western Illinois continues its spring season after being highlighted by strong team success. The Leathernecks will hit the road to continue conference play against Tennessee State.
