MACOMB, Ill.- Western Illinois women's tennis had another strong week as Mana Fawcett and Jessica Hess earned Doubles Team of the Week honors following a standout performance in weekend action. The recognition marks the fourth consecutive week the duo has received the award.

Competing at the No. 1 doubles position, Fawcett and Hess delivered a key performance for the Leathernecks with a 6-4 victory against Northern Iowa. The win helped secure the doubles point for Western Illinois and helped set the tone early in the match.

Western Illinois continues its spring season with momentum after a week highlighted by strong team success. The Leathernecks will return home to begin conference play against Southern Indiana.
