MACOMB, Ill. – Senior forward Mia Nicastro of Western Illinois University women's basketball has been named to the Finalist List for the 2026 Lilly Women's College All-Star Game, recognizing her as one of the top senior players in women's college basketball this season.
The prestigious event will take place April 4 during Final Four weekend at Global Credit Union Arena on the campus of Grand Canyon University and will be nationally televised on ESPN2. The game annually showcases many of the nation's most impactful graduating seniors.
Nicastro's inclusion on the finalist list highlights a standout senior season in which she has been a key leader for the Leathernecks on both ends of the floor. Known for her scoring ability, rebounding presence, and versatility in the frontcourt, the senior has played a pivotal role in Western Illinois' success throughout the 2025-26 campaign.
Her selection places her among more than 100 seniors across Division I who are being recognized for their accomplishments and impact on the game. Final rosters for the Lilly Women's College All-Star Game will be announced closer to the event.
Nicastro and the Leathernecks recently captured the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament title, earning a berth in the NCAA Tournament and continuing a historic season for the program.
The Lilly Women's College All-Star Game has become one of the premier showcases for graduating seniors in women's basketball, giving players the opportunity to compete on a national stage during championship weekend.
