MACOMB, IL – The Leatherneck Softball program is set to host its third annual Hit-A- Thon fundraiser on Saturday, October 11. The event is open to the public and will be held at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium beginning at 12:00 p.m. CT.
"Our players have always really enjoyed our Hit-A-Thon fundraiser," said Head Softball Coach Alisa Goler. "It's not your typical fundraiser and gets everyone involved, from players to their families and friends. We're excited to bring it back for year three to help support future field renovations. Last year we raised over $20,000, and this year the goal is to surpass that!"
The Hit-A-Thon provides a fun and exciting way for Leatherneck softball supporters, alumni, and friends to assist the program in reaching its fundraising goals. Whether making an outright gift or a pledge to support a favorite player, all contributions will go toward supporting future renovations at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium.
