WIU and Q98.1 to Host Fall Sport Preview Live from Farm King

Macomb, IL - Western Illinois University Leatherneck Athletics and Q98.1 FM will be on the aire from the Macomb Farm King on Saturday, August 30 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. BJ Stone, the Leatherneck's play-by-play voice, will be visiting with Head Football Coach Joe Davis, Director of Athletics Paul Bubb, and other guests about the upcoming Leatherneck fall sport seasons.
 
The Toyota Season Ticket Drive is in full swing with the first home football game on Saturday, September 13.  The Leathernecks will face off against Valparaiso University in a 6 pm matchup as the Leathernecks will celebrate the 7thAnnual Family Day BBQ and AG Day with the pregame tailgate activities. 
 
Fans will be able to order their football season tickets at Farm King during the live remote broadcast. Fall sport team posters and schedule cards will be available with drawings for special giveaways taking place, including tickets for the Leathernecks game at Northwestern University on Friday, September 5.
 
Signup for the Ladies First WIU Women's Football Night, led by Whitney Davis and featuring members of the Leatherneck football team and coaching staff, will also be available during the broadcast from Farm King.
 
Tune in and plan to stop by when the Toyota Season Ticket Drive and Leatherneck Athletics team up with Farm King for a live remote broadcast on Q98.1 FM.
