WIU Tennis Drops a Pair this Weekend

Leathernecks next in action March 6 vs. SLU

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Western Illinois women's tennis squad dropped a pair of matches this week, falling to Northern Illinois 7-0 on Friday in Galesburg and 7-0 to Bradley on Saturday in Pekin. On Friday, Northern Illinois took two of the three doubles matches, leaving the third unfinished.

In singles play, no Leatherneck was able to capture a set.

On Saturday, Bradley took all three doubles matches and all six singles matches. Maria Rybka had WIU's best performance, losing 6-4, 6-3.

The Leathernecks are now off until March 6, when they host St. Louis.
