Macomb, Ill- The Western Illinois football team will host the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Hanson Field in Macomb, Ill.
In their first season as members of the Big South–OVC Football Association, the Leathernecks currently hold a 3-8 record with a conference record of 2-5. Gardner-Webb
Gardner-Webb is 4-7 overall with a conference record of 3-4. Their most recent game was a 23-20 loss to Tennessee State on November 16. The Bulldogs are led by quarterback Tyler Riddell who has thrown for 2,339 yards and has 13 TD's and 10 INTS on the year. Defensively, they are led by linebacker Trevor Moffitt who has 64 tackles on the season with five sacks and one INT.
