Leathernecks look for Summit League victories

MACOMB – The Western Illinois women's tennis team resumes their season this week with a pair of Summit League matches on the road.

On Wednesday, the Leathernecks (4-9, 0-1 in the Summit League) visit South Dakota (5-9, 0-2) for an 11 a.m. match. On Friday, Western Illinois meets North Dakota (8-10, 3-0) at 4 p.m. Western Illinois has not been in action since falling at Oral Roberts 7-0 on March 18.

The Coyotes have lost three matches in a row, including two straight in league play. UND has won two straight overall, plus three in a row in the Summit. After this week's matches, Western Illinois returns home to face Omaha next Friday (April 7) at 1 p.m.
