Previous matchup: IUPUI and Western have squared off 26 times, dating back to 1998. The series has been historically even, as Western holds a 11-11-4 record all time against the Jaguars. The Leathernecks currently hold a three-match unbeaten streak against IUPUI, with a draw last year in Indianapolis that saw current Leathernecks Sofian Maghouz and Jack Immesoete score in a three-all tie.

Scouting the opponents: The Jaguars go into Tuesday afternoon's matchup with a 4-5-3 record, including three conference wins in the Horizon League. IUPUI has lost their last two matches, first to Butler, and in a conference match with Cleveland State. The Jaguars currently sit in first place in the Horizon, despite being outscored 13-24 in total on the season. Lukas Hackaa and Josemir Gomez have each scored five goals for IUPUI.

So far this season: Western recently picked up its first Summit League win on Saturday, in a 3-2 thriller vs. St. Thomas. The Leathernecks currently sit in fourth place in the Summit League, and if the season ended today, would be in the Summit League tournament. WIU saw six different players pick up their first goal contribution of the year in the match. The Leathernecks look to build on the momentum from the big win with a quick turnaround on Tuesday.

Players to watch: Three players picked up their first goal of the season in Saturday's match, those being Liam Gainey, Armin Dedic, and Aidan Breslin. Breslin, a freshman from Crestwood, Illinois, recently saw his role change on Saturday, as he had previously been used as a midfielder and on the wings, but was used as a central attacker vs. St. Thomas.

What's next: Western will finish off the three match homestand on Saturday when the Leathernecks take on Denver.
