Last Week | Western Illinois wrapped up its road schedule last Saturday (Nov. 12), falling to St. Thomas in three sets. The Leathernecks would battle in set one using a 5-1 and a 3-0 run to pull within one and two late in the set before St. Thomas would take the first set. Hailey Sperling would have a double-double with 11 kills and 12 digs. Brittany Wulf had 11 kills and seven digs. WIU had three blocks last Saturday, with Julianna Schmidt having the lone solo block.

Ahead of the Pack | Karli Wenzel leads Western Illinois defense with 397 digs this season. Wenzel is averaging 4.56 digs per set, which is good enough for second place in the Summit League. Brittany Wulf has also been dominant this fall. From the service line, Wulf has 37 aces averaging 0.42 aces per set, which put her in third place in the Summit League.

WIU Leaders | Brittany Wulf paces the offense with 280 kills, averaging 3.15 per set. Freshman Elizabeth Ziegler sits second on the team with 205. Karli Wenzel leads the team with 397 digs on the season. Senior Jessie Connell has dished out 238 assists for second on the team. Connell is averaging 4.18 assists per set. Julianna Schmidt leads the team with 57 blocks, including ten solo blocks. WIU, as a team, has had 110 service aces on the season.

Scouting Oral Roberts | Oral Roberts sits at 4-12 in conference play heading into the final weekend. Oral Roberts has two players with 300 or more kills on the season. Kaia Dunford has 300 kills, with Trinity Freeman has 315.

Scouting Kansas City | Kansas City sits at 5-11 in conference play and 8-21 overall. Odyssey Warren has led the Roo's offense with 186 kills this season. Kansas City has a total of 130 service aces this season, with Warren leading the way at 26.
