Last Week | Western Illinois finished its first conference road trip of the season. A three-game road trip with stops in Kansas City, Omaha, and Denver saw WIU drop all three matches.

Returning Home | After playing their first two home games at Macomb High School, WIU will play at Western Hall for the first time this season. The Leathernecks went 2-7 at home last year.

Stat Leaders | After the first two weeks of conference play, Brittany Wulf leads the Summit League on average per set. The sophomore has had 31 service aces in 57 sets averaging 0.54 aces per set. Wulf is not the only Leatherneck around the top of a statistical category. Karli Wenzel is in second place in the Summit League in digs per set, averaging 4.17 digs per set.

Scouting South Dakota State | The Jackrabbits come into this weekend sitting .500. An 8-8 overall record with a 2-2 conference record has the Jacks in the middle of the pack in the Summit League. The Jackrabbits split their games last week, defeating North Dakota before falling to in-state rival South Dakota.

Scouting South Dakota | South Dakota sits at 4-1 in conference play and a 14-2 record overall. The Coyotes' only conference loss was to NDSU in five sets. USD is led by Elizabeth Juhnke, who has 346 kills on the season, averaging 5.24 kills per set.

What's Next | WIU will head to Oral Roberts on Tuesday (October 11) for a midweek matchup before returning home on Saturday (October 15) to take on the Tommies of St. Thomas.
