Last Time Out |  Sam Pryor seems to have the habit of hitting clutch shots against the North Dakota State Bison (6-15, 3-6) in the 2019-20 campaign.

The redshirt-junior drilled the dagger three-pointer that erupted the Western Hall crowd en route to a career-high 16 points at 1:06 in the fourth quarter that earned the Western Illinois women's basketball team (12-11, 6-4) an 86-79 victory on Saturday (Feb. 1) night.

The Hall | Western Hall has been a successful place for the Leathernecks this season. The team has posted a 9-3 overall record and if they winout the remaining two matchups, they will tie the program mark for third all-time in home victories in a season with 11. The last time Western won 11 games at home was in the 2017-18 and 2003-04 seasons. The program record was set in 2016-17 when the Leathernecks finished with 13 wins.

Dropping Nichols | The Omaha and North Dakota road swing saw Danni Nichols improve her career-high in points each time out. At UNO, she scored a career-high 24 points and notched her first career double-double. The former Summit League Freshman of the Year then built off the performance and poured in 26 points in Grand Forks to improve her career-high.

Scouting the Mastodons | Accepting an invitation to join the Horizon League in the 2020-21 season, the Leathernecks will visit the 'Dons one last time in Summit League play. Purdue Fort Wayne is coming off back-to-back home losses to North Dakota (49-63) and North Dakota State (44-58).
