GALESBURG, Ill. – Western Illinois women's tennis played their lone home match of the 2014 season on Sunday (April 13). The visiting Chicago State Cougars handed Western a 7-0 defeat at the Lakeside Tennis Center.

Jessica Callahan was honored prior to the match as the team celebrated senior day.

Kirsa Utech defeated Jenna Wallace at the number one singles 6-0, 6-1. Hanna Pangestu had a 6-2, 6-0 decision over Nicole Jones at number two singles.

Jessica Callahan and Andriana Johnson were blanked at the three and four singles match, respectively. Bolado Gema Yusta defeated Ese Davis 6-1, 6-0 at number five. Sabrine Navarro took the sixth singles match over Jamee Hale 6-1, 6-1.

Chicago State swept all three doubles matches.

Western (0-15 overall) will close out the regular season in Denver, facing South Dakota State, the host Pioneers, and South Dakota in a Summit League cluster starting Friday (April 18).\
