MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Western Illinois women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 defeat at Marquette on Saturday evening (Feb. 15). The Leathernecks dropped to 0-6 overall on the season.

Jenna Wallace captured a game during the second set of her number one singles match against Ana Pimienta. The only other game Western captured was during the number two doubles as Ese Davis and Jessica Callahan dropped an 8-1 decision to Pimienta and Aleeza Kanner.

Western returns to Milwaukee on Sunday (Feb. 23) to face Cardinal Stritch.
