MACOMB, Ill. - Western Illinois women's tennis is back in action on the road this Saturday (Feb. 25). The team will take on Valparaiso with the match beginning at 10 a.m. The Leathernecks stand 0-4 on the year, while Valparaiso holds a record of 2-3.
"Valparaiso will be favored to beat us because we have no returning players in our line-up," head coach Chris Kane said. "This won't be easy by any means, but I'm looking forward to the match. The women have been doing a great job practicing hard. We're trying to improve upon our doubles play because I feel we have been a little weak in that area."
The Leathernecks are in search for their first team and individual player wins of the 2012 regular season.
