Postgame Quotes

Head Coach Leslie Crane
On the win

"It was an unbelievable effort from our kids tonight. We got some great minutes from some key role players. Anneloes (Kodde) hit a pair of three's, Lyndi (Thorman) hit a couple big free throws and Lindsey Wutt put in a good effort both scoring and rebounding. Wutt has been giving us very productive minutes in the last couple games. The key was keeping (Janae) Voelker in check. We did a good job defensively by knowing our personnel and plugging up the middle."

On the upperclassman never losing in The Mabee Center
"You really have to hand it to Amanda (Walker), Nicole (Myers) and Jordon (O'Brien) because they have never lost in this building. They came in here tonight and knew that they didn't want to go out on a loss in this building and they played hard to ensure that."

On Anne Borgertpoepping's point increase
"We've found Anne's niche as a true point guard. She's doing a great job running the floor game and keeping people organized. We're as pleased as can be with the way she has stepped up in the last couple of weeks and playing with a purpose."
