Game by Game Recaps:
Game 11: Had three tackles while helping limit Youngstown State to 109 rushing yards.
Game 10: Broke the FCS record career forced fumbles and the school's single-season record... had a TFL in overtime, helping stop Illinois State's final drive.
Game 9: Tied the all-time FCS record of 13 career forced fumbles... also had two TFLs and a pass breakup against #12 Southern Illinois.
Game 8: Registered two TFLs, forced a fumble, broke up a pass and tallied two QB hurries in addition to his six tackles against #4 UNI.
Game 7: Williams recorded eight tackles and four tackle-for-loss and a pair of quarterback hurries in the Leathernecks' second shutout of the year.
Game 6: Williams kept his string of tackles for loss in tact while helping the Leathernecks snap the Bison's 15-game home winning streak.
Game 5: Williams set Western Illinois' career record for forced fumbles in a win at Missouri State. The 11th forced fumble of his career came on a Missouri State punt return, giving the Leathernecks possession at the Bears' 24-yard line and leading to a 7-0 lead three plays later.
Game 4: Williams recorded six total tackles, a tackle for loss, and two pass breakups against the Lumberjacks. He continues to be ranked among the nation's top-20 in forced fumbles at 0.50 per game.
Game 3: Williams recorded nine total tackles, a tackle for loss, and a pass breakup against the Jackrabbits. No one in the nation has more forced fumbles than Williams, and he ranks 33rd in sacks per game (0.83).
Game 2: In just more than one quarter of work against Quincy, Williams recorded four tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss. The sack was enough to keep him among the nation's top-10 with 1.25 per game.
Game 1: After compiling seven tackles, two forced fumbles and two sacks in a 28-24 loss at Arkansas, Williams was named the league and national defensive player of the week.
