Summer Quesenberry

Summer Quesenberry serves as the Director of Student-Athlete Experience and NIL Strategy at Western Illinois University, where she supports Leatherneck student-athletes through programming focused on leadership development, academic success, personal growth, and career readiness. In her current role, she works across all 18 varsity programs and serves as a liaison in areas including financial aid, compliance support, game-day operations, and student-athlete experience. She also assists with ESPN broadcasts for men’s and women’s basketball and mentors graduate assistants in game-day marketing, fan engagement, communications, academic success, and compliance.

Quesenberry brings more than 15 years of collegiate athletics leadership experience across NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA institutions. A proven program builder and student-centered leader, she has served in multiple head coaching roles and has built a reputation for developing strong team culture, improving academic outcomes, and mentoring student-athletes on and off the court. Her background also includes experience at IMG Academy, where she worked in one of the nation’s most recognizable sports and education environments.

A native of Urbana, Ohio, Quesenberry earned her bachelor’s degree in physical education with a minor in psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University and is pursuing an MBA in Organizational Leadership from the University of Illinois Springfield. She currently resides in Macomb, Illinois, with her 2-year-old Bull Terrier, Winter.
