Shelby Borchardt began her current role as Western Illinois University’s Assistant Director for Ticketing, Events, and Annual Fund in May of 2017. She previously served as Western’s ticket operations manager from July 2015 to May 2017.
Borchardt is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ticket operations for the University’s intercollegiate athletic department, along with assisting with athletics’ annual fund and special events. She also serves as the sport supervisor for the cheerleading program.
Borchardt received her bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in management from St. Ambrose University in May 2013 and received her master’s degree in sport management from Western Illinois University in May 2015. While completing master’s program, Borchardt assisted in the WIU compliance office.
