Biography
SENIOR (2023-24): During her senior season, Carbonell recorded three singles wins, include a pair in Ohio Valley Conference play. Carbonell went 2-4 at No. 3 singles for the Leathernecks.
In doubles, Carbonell won three matches, earning wins with Paige Grice, Maria Rybka and Anna-Evelina Trush as partners.
JUNIOR (2023): Won five singles matches during the season… Added three more victories in doubles
SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Agatha Carbonell went 2-12 overall in singles during the 2021-22 season. In doubles, Carbonell went 1-0 when paired with Aina Cortina-Pou, 0-1 with Maria Rybka, 2-7 with Paige Grice, for an overall doubles record of 3-8.
FRESHMAN (2020-21): Did not play fall season due to COVID-19 Pandemic... played in all 11 matches with a singles record of 2-9… tied with Lorena Castellanos for most singles wins… earned first collegiate victory on Feb. 14 at St. Francis (Ill.)... took her matches to the third set on four occasions.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended San Jose de Calasanz, Escolapios… a powerful all court player with a strong serve and good tennis IQ.
PERSONAL: Born Feb. 20, 2002… daughter of Cristina Garcia Diaz… plans to major in physics.
