Biography

JUNIOR (2025): Made 29 appearances, started in 12... batted an average of .275...stole 7 bases.

SOPHOMORE (2024): Made 43 appearances, starting in 36…batted .314, the highest on the team…33 hits were second on the team…stole nine bases on 11 attempts, 2nd on the team…had multiple hits in 11 different games…went three-for-three at the plate in a win at Northern Iowa…went four-for-five with a double against Tennessee Tech…had three hits in a win over SIUE. 

FRESHMAN (2023): Started 22 of her 36 appearances in the Leatherneck lineup, hitting .234 across 63 at bats… drove in the game-winning RBI in a 2-1 win over Detroit Mercy on Feb. 12… scored in seven games… three multi-hit performances including a perfect 3-3 against St. Thomas on April 7… walked nine times… finished the year with three stolen bases, 19 put outs and three assists.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letter winner under coach Lisa Mays at Prairie View High School in LaCygne, Kan…. Three-time First Team All-League selection... First Team All-State outfielder in 2021 and First Team All-State catcher in 2022… hit .488 with a 1.551 on base percentage in 2022… also a member of the National Honor Society and was class president for two years.

PERSONAL: Mother, Lisa Mays, played four seasons of collegiate softball at Pittsburgh State… Father, Jerry Boone, played collegiate football, also at Pittsburgh State… credits both parents as the biggest influence on her sports career… most memorable sports moment was finishing second at the state tournament her senior year, something that hadn’t been done at Prairie View in 50 years… played travel ball for Aces Fastpitch... plans to major in Business Management.
