2009 (Redshirt-Junior): Selected to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Midwest Region First Team... named Summit League Pitcher of the Year for the second time in her career, becoming only the second player in conference history to win the award on multiple occasions... earned all-conference first team honors for the third time... named to the all-conference tournament team... named Summit League Pitcher of the Week for three consecutive weeks from April 20-May 4... selected as one of the team's two captains by her teammates... appeared in 32 games and made 31 stats... registered 12 shutouts on the year, the 11th most in the nation... posted 22 wins, the third most wins in a season in school history, and only nine losses... pitched 27 complete games, the seventh most in single-season school history, and pitched 202.1 innings, the eighth most in single-season school history... threw 171 strikeouts, the sixth most in single-season school history, and only allowed 59 walks... posted a conference-best 1.80 ERA and held her opposing batters to a conference-best .201 batting average... posted a 1.35 ERA and a .171 opponent batting average in conference games... threw a season-high 12 strikeouts in the 5-3 win over Southern Utah in 10 innings to advance to the conference tournament championship game... threw 11 strikeouts against IUPUI on April 29 and against IPFW on May 2... did not allow a single earned run in 15 different games... allowed only one run in a game on five different occasions... helped her team set the school record for most runs scored in a season (270) and most RBIs in a season (243)... finished the year ranked third all-time in school history in wins (54), fourth in appearances (111), third in complete games (78), third in innings pitched (649.1) and second in strikeouts (557)... named to The Summit League Winter-Spring Academic All-Conference Team... helped Western earn NFCA Girls Got Game Top 10 All-Academic Division I honors, posting the nation’s ninth-best team grade point average (3.446) among Division I softball programs.
