Biography

SENIOR (2018): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Academic All-Summit League... Started all 40 games... Accumulated a .298 batting average... Smashed three home runs and picked up 25 RBI... Led the team with 32 walks and a .456 on-base percentage... Hit a home run and drove in three runs in a 10-1 win at Iowa on March 27... Ripped a three-run, bases clearing double in a 10-1 win at North Dakota (April 20)... Racked up 10 multi-hit games... Ended the season on a five-game hitting streak... Finished second on the team with a .456 slugging percentage. 

JUNIOR (2018): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... First Team All-Summit League... Academic All-Summit League... Started 43 games and appeared in three more as a pinch hitter... Finished with team-highs in batting average (.359), , hits (47) home runs (6) and RBI (32)... Notched 14 multi-hit games including a a 3-for-4 performance at South Dakota with five RBI, two runs scored and a double... She scored 12 runs and drew 17 walks... Totaled a .437 on-base percentage and a team-best .565 slugging percentage. 

SOPHOMORE (2017): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... First Team All-Summit League... All-Summit League Tournament Team... Academic All-Summit League... Tied for the team's led in batting average (.341) and led the team in slugging percentage (.612)... She also tallied 22 RBI in only 34 games played while also finishing with seven home runs... Finished with 29 hits, seven runs scored and two doubles... Drew six walks... Had five multi-hit games, and had her best series against IUPUI (April 14-15) at home when she went 6-for-9 with a home run in each of the three games, all solo home runs.

FRESHMAN (2016): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Distinguished Scholar... Made 27 starts as a designated player and appeared in 36 games... Went 2-for-4 with three RBIs, a double and a home run against Fort Wayne (May 6)... Recorded six multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games... Was fourth on the team with 15 RBIs... Hit her first career triple against IUPUI (April 29)... Compiled 24 hits, four doubles, six walks and two home runs... Ended the season with a .279 average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Duwa drove in 55 runs her junior season with 13 home runs and .520 batting average on her way to being named First Team All-State as a junior. Along with her All-State honors, Duwa was named First Team All-Metro, First Team All-District, and First Team All-Conference. The year prior, Duwa was named Second Team All-State after hitting .583 with four home runs and 38 RBIs. Duwa and current Leatherneck Holly Hoelting were members of Pleasant Valley's back-to-back third place finishes in 2011 and 2012. Pleasant Valley finished 6th in the 2014 state tournament but not before Duwa set a 5A tournament record with six RBIs in one game. The Bettendorf, Iowa native has also lettered in basketball and volleyball. Duwa is a three-time All-Conference selection and a two-time All-District honoree.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Dallas and Amy Duwa... Played on the SE Iowa All-Stars Blue travel team.
