Biography

SENIOR (2021): Summit League All-Academic Team... made the third-most starts for Western; 41 of 43 appearances... homered in the season opener versus Valparaiso (Feb. 13)... recorded a total of 12 hits and nine runs scored... successfully connected on five sacrifice bunts, including one to help win the eight-inning win at DePaul (Feb. 14)... drew seven walks... ended her career with 113 starts in 125 games.

JUNIOR (2020): Started all 19 games... Recorded 11 hits and drove in five runs... Cranked a career-high four doubles... Notched her first career triple in a win versus DePaul on March 8... Went 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles in a 10-9 victory over Northern Illinois (Feb. 29).
 
SOPHOMORE (2019): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Appeared in 26 games with 16 starts … Missed part of the season due to injury… Ripped nine hits and crossed the plate eight times with four RBI... Stole a team-high seven bases (7-of-7)… Logged a 2-for-4 performance at the plate with a pair of RBI in an 8-0 win over Bowling Green on March 9.

FRESHMAN (2018): Summit League Academic Honor Roll...Started in 41 games… Finished the season with a .261 batting average… Recorded 31 hits on, 5 RBIs, 18 Runs scored and five doubles... Finished with a on-base percentage of .348… Had six multi-hit-games, and recorded a season-high three hits in Western's games against Murray State (March 17) and at Wichita State (March 11).

HIGH SCHOOL: Named First Team All-Conference as a freshman, sophomore and junior... Named Rockridge's 'Most Improved Player' her freshman year, and was tabbed 'Defensive Player of the Year' as both a sophomore and junior. 

PERSONAL: A Milan, Ill. native... Went to Rockridge High School... Earned the distinction of being named to the High Honor Roll at Rockridge since her freshman year, as well earning Academic All-Conference honors... Majoring in biology/pre-med at Western...  Parents are John and Katherine Minyard.
