Coach’s Outlook:
Justin is a pure athlete that is fast, quick, can jump, and has great hands. Justin has had an outstanding tennis career already and I think his senior year will be his best. He had a great start in the fall and is definitely playing a more confident brand of tennis this year.
2005-06 (Junior Season):
Tallied a 6-9 singles record at the No. 2 position... Recorded a singles overall record of 12-14... Totaled a 20-11 doubles record with Neil Lesinski, primarily at the No. 2 with a 10-6 record.
2004-05 (Sophomore Season):
Named Mid-Con Player of the Week (Feb. 22)... Posted a 7-8 singles record at the No. 1 position for the Leathernecks after transferring from Nebraska... Had a combined 13-16 singles record... Teamed with Sean Moran primarily at No. 1 doubles, going 5-6... Totaled an overall doubles record of 11-10... Named o the Mid-Con All-Conference Second Team.
At Nebraska:
2003-04 (Freshman Season):
Tallied a 2-0 overall singles record at the No. 5 and No. 6 positions... Totaled a 2-11 record at the No. 1 doubles position... Compiled a 2-3 doubles record at the No. 2 spot... Went 5-15 in doubles play.
High School:
Went 16-1 in singles with a 15 match winning streak in 2003... Compiled a 4-0 doubles record in 2003... Earned two district titles... Qualified for state all four years... Placed third at state in 2001 and 2003 and fifth in 2002... Was a four-time letterwinner.
