AWARDS AND HONORS
• Named to the 2011 Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team - Distinguished Scholar

At Western Illinois
2010-11 (Senior season): Was named as an All-Summit League selection after posting a 9-12 record at No. 1 singles during the spring... also finished the season with an 11-11 record in doubles play (5-8 at No. 1 and 6-3 at No. 2)... was 5-3 in his final eight matches of the season.

2009-10 (Junior season): Was named Summit League Newcomer of the Year, the second person to earn the honor in program history...earned Western's only all-conference honor on the men's side...represented Western Illinois at No. 1 singles, posting a 8-12 record with a 3-1 Summit League record...paired with James McGuire for a 4-2 doubles record in the No. 1 position...recorded a 3-1 record in No. 2 doubles with Rodrigo Azevedo.

At Rhode Island
While at Rhode Island, he competed at the No. 2 singles position while posting a  20-10 singles record. Cote also posted a 19-16 doubles record playing at the No. 1 position.

At Hartford
Cote spent the 2006-07 season at the University of Hartford where he competed mainly at the No. 3 singles position and the No. 1 doubles position, posting a 6-10 singles record and a 7-9 doubles record.

High School
The Warwick, R.I. native, led his high school team to a state title in 2004 as well as earning all-state honors in 2004, 2005 and 2006. He also had a No. 1 ranking his junior year in the state according to www.Tennisrecruiting.net.
