At Western Illinois
2007-08 (senior season):
Started 22-of-30 games...averaged 9.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game...recorded 15 games scoring in double figures, totaling 29 for his career...led Western in recording double-doubles this season (three)...had four games with 10 or more rebounds...recorded a season-best 16 points against UMKC (1/31/08)...was the leading scorer for the Leathernecks in five games and the leading rebounder in 13 games...grabbed a career-best 11 rebounds against Culver-Stockton (12/30/07).

2006-07 (junior season): Hit the first six shots of his Division-I career against Upper Iowa en route to a 15-point, 6-rebound game... hit 9-of-10 shots and 8-of-12 free throws to score a career-high 26 points at IPFW... led the team with a 51.3% (98-of-191)field goal percentage... scored 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting in 34 minutes against Radford... named to the Florida International Invitational All-Tournament Team after recording 15 points and eight rebounds through two games... tabbed 16 points and 5 rebounds in 34 minutes against IPFW... tabbed 11 points of 5-for-11 shooting at Oral Roberts... scored 14 points of 6-of-11 shooting in Western’s win at Oakland... led the team with 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting versus UMKC... hit 8-of-11 shots on his way to a game-high 17 points in Western’s win over Southern Utah... started 27 of his 28 games... averaged 9.4 points and shot a team-high .513 (98-191) from the field... averaged 4.6 rebounds per game, ranking second on the team.

Before Western Illinois
Earned second-team NJCAA all-region honors last season for his play at Eastern Arizona Community College... averaged 14 points and 6.8 rebounds per game... helped Eastern Arizona to a 23-8 record and a berth in the semifinals of the regional tournament.

Father, Doug Murrey, played at San Jose State from 1977-81 and was drafted in the sixth round of the NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors... has an older brother, Russell, on the basketball and track teams at Adams State College... has a younger sister, Brittney, on the volleyball team at UC Riverside.
