Biography
SENIOR (2015-16): Played in 22 of the teams 27 games, coming off of the bench in each of them... Averaged 2.7 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game... Made 19 three-pointers... Shot 35.7 from the field and 37.3 from long range... His best game of the season was at home versus Silver Lake (Dec. 2) when he score 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field and making 4-of-6 from long range.
JUNIOR (2014-15): Played in 27-of-28 games starting 11 of them... Averaged 25.3 minutes per game... Finished the season fourth on the team in scoring having averaged 6.4 points per game... Averaged 1.9 rebounds per game, and had 17 assists, six steals and two blocks... Shot 43.1 percent from the field, a team-best 41.7 (59-137) from the three-point line (45-108), and 81.8 from the free throw line (9-11)... Had eight games with 10 or more points, including his first-ever WIU game... He knocked down a game-winning three late in WIU's game against Southeastern Louisiana... Scored a season-high 15 points in Western's win over Omaha (Jan. 4) on 5-of-8 shooting from the field and 5-of-7 shooting from long range... He also had a season-high three assists in that game.
PRIOR TO WESTERN: Graduated from Sandringham College (high school) in Melbourne, Australia... Played at Neosho Community College for first two years of college basketball... Averaged 9.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game as a sophomore... As a freshman, during the 2012-13 season, Batish was tabbed 2013 All Jayhawk Conference Honorable Mention after averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game... Cconnected on five or more 3-pointers in a game nine different times in his Neosho C.C. career including a career-best eight vs. Missouri State University-West Plains (1/2/13). In that same game versus MSU-West Plains Batish scored a career-high 32 points. He grabbed a career-high seven rebounds twice, and finished his career having had three games with a career-best six assists.
