FRESHMAN (2014-15): Played in six games coming off of the bench... Averaged 2.0 minutes per game... Recorded one rebound and one assist in WIU's game against Greenville College.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Peoria Central in 2014... High school coach was Dan Ruffin... Member of Peoria Central's 2012 State Championship team... Played basketball, baseball and ran cross country... Was a team captain his senior season, and was tabbed All-Conference First Team as a senior... Finished his senior year with one of the high 3-point percentage in the area (49%) with more than 200 attempts.
PERSONAL: Son of Danny and Alta Mayes... Lists Damian Lillard as athlete he mosts admires because "he was overlooked coming out of high school, and even college, but worked hard to get where he is today"... His favorite player is T-Mac (Tracy McGrady)...Hobby includes playing video games.
