Kris Glover

Kris Glover enters his fourth year with the Western Illinois men’s basketball program, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the program. Glover's journey in Basketball Operations began at Xavier University under Head Coach Chris Mack and Travis Steele where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience as a two-year manager for the men’s basketball program before transferring to the University of Missouri.
 
At Missouri, he continued in a managerial role for another two seasons with the Mizzou Tigers under Head Coach Cuonzo Martin, showcasing his commitment and passion for the sport, graduating in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Parks, Recreation, Sport, and Tourism with an emphasis in Sport Management.
 
During the 2021-2022 season, Glover started as a Graduate Assistant with Western Illinois University men’s basketball under then Head Coach Rob Jeter. Glover is currently the Director of Basketball Operations and Assistant Coach where his responsibilities include assisting the coaching staff with on-court defensive activities, scouting opponents, and managing the day-to-day basketball operations activities. His expertise and strategic insights have been instrumental in the team’s development and success.
 
Notable program achievements since Glover’s time at Western include:

  • Most wins in program history with a 21-win season, finishing fourth overall in the OVC (2023-2024)
  • Back-to-back 16-win seasons in the Summit League (2021-2022 & 2022-2023)

Glover earned his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in May 2023 and currently resides in Macomb.
