REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2013): Saw action in five games (Quincy, Illinois State, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois and Indiana State)... recorded a tackle verus Quincy, Southern and at Indiana State... one quarterback hurry against Quincy.

FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL: Starting defensive end last fall for Notre Dame, but is projected as a linebacker for the Leathernecks... earned All-ESCC Conference honors after his senior year... received the 'Outstanding Defensive Player' award... recorded 49 tackles, 10 quarterback sacks, 11 tackles for a loss, forced a fumble and two pass break-ups during his senior year... played for coach Mike Hennessey... lettered twice in football and wrestling, once in track... earned academic honors his freshman and senior year...

PERSONAL: Son of Laura Ahmad... born September 26, 1993... has a twin brother Tyler... No. 1 sports highlight was beating rival school St. Patricks his senior year... his mom has been a major influence, "She has always believed in me," and also his cousin John Creely, "He pushed me to be a better athlete."... enjoys football, weightlifting and having fun.
