2008 (Redshirt-Freshman season): Named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team... appeared in every game, started at Arkansas... led all league freshmen with 3 sacks (-31 yards)... had three tackles for loss against Indiana State... recorded sacks against Missouri State, UNI and Southern Illinois... had a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a sack against Southern Illinois... totaled three quarterback hurries... ranked second among WIU linemen and third on the team with eight tackles for loss (-42 yards).

2007 (Freshman season): Redshirted... was named Defensive Scout Team Co-Player of the Year... named to the Gateway Conference Academic Honor Roll.

High School
Registered 91 tackles and two interceptions as a senior... named the Peoria Journal Star 2006 Big School Player of the Year... compiled 73 tackles and two interceptions and was named to the Peoria Journal Star All-Area Team as a junior... helped his team to a 20-3 record over the last two years, and an appearance in the 2006 Class 5A state semifinal game... was a two-time all-conference honoree... earned all-state honors in 2006 from the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association.
