Biography

JUNIOR (2014): Started in all 12 games... helped the offensive unit record a 1,000-yard rusher and near 3,000-yard passer... unit gained 72 more yards per game in total offense than compared to 2013... team ranked eighth nationally in tackles for a loss allowed.

SOPHOMORE (2013): Played in all 12 games... started four consecutive games - South Dakota, Illinois State, South Dakota State and Youngstown State - at guard... helped the offense nearly record as many points as the last two years combined... helped pave the way for eight 100-yard rushing games... named MVFC 'Offensive Lineman of the Week' following the South Dakota game... received the MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2012): Played in 10 games... started fall camp along the defensive line, then moved to offensive guard.

FRESHMAN (2011): Redshirted... member of the travel squad.

HIGH SCHOOL: Helped Maine South win three consecutive Class 8A state football titles during his career (2008-10)... four-time conference champions... senior year helped the team win their final 12 games, through the state title game... team went 40-2 during his three year career... went undefeated his sophomore and junior year... led the team his senior year in fumble recoveries... selected team captain... recorded 62 tackles and 11 sacks... lettered twice in football and three years in wrestling... during his sophomore and junior year qualified for state wrestling... earned the award for strongest athlete on the 2010 football team... two-time All-Conference honors in wrestling... off the field earned the highest honor in scouting, becoming an Eagle Scout... played for coach David Inserra.
