FRESHMAN (2015): Redshirted... enrolled in January and participated in spring drills.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football four years… tied for the most touchdown passes in a single game at IMG Academy… threw three consecutive touchdown passes in the first quarter during a game his senior year… helped IMG to a No. 1 ranking in the state of Florida his senior year… played for coach Dennis Coyle and Chris Weinke.

PERSONAL: Born June 22, 1996 in Phoenix, Arizona… No. 1 sports highlight was throwing three TD passes in a quarter… his parents have been a major influence, “For their constant support and motivation.”… most admires Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, “He’s a master of the game.”… enjoys paintball and wakeboarding… favorite professional team is the Green Bay Packers… son of Joel and Beth Shanklin.
