JUNIOR (2016): Second Team Academic All-MVFC... Missouri Valley Football Conference President's Council Academic Award... MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award... MVFC Honor Roll... handled all the kickoff duties, finishing with 31 touchbacks... WIU tied for fifth in the nation in touchbacks... Nominated for the Rhodes Scholar... will serve as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee in 2016-17... been very active in community service, working with: CONNECKS, Rocky's Reach, Dance Marathon, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Genesis Garden, Summit League Food Fight, Alex's Lemonade Stand, St. Baldrick's, Tim Tebow's Night to Shine, Western Illinois Construction Management Association, and Leatherneck Thank-a-Thon.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Missouri Valley Football Conference Academic Excellence Award... received the program's Frank Sorenson Award, given to the player with the highest GPA... saw action in all 13 games... 52 kickoffs and had 24 touchbacks... punted 28 times with a 33.9 average... landed six inside the 20-yard line... season-high 38.5 yard average on four punts in the Southern Illinois game... five of his six kickoffs at Indiana State were touchbacks... four touchbacks at Dayton and South Dakota.

FRESHMAN (2014): Played in four games... three punts for a 23.0 yard average against Illinois State... 13 kickoffs with a 61.3 yard average and one touchback... named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football and soccer… First Team All-Conference honors as a kicker his senior year, Third Team honors as a junior… two-time Second Team All-Conference accolades at punter and was Honorable Mention after his sophomore year… Academic All-State following his senior year… his senior year 50 of his 99 kickoffs were touchbacks… career-long 61-yard punt in the air… named special teams MVP in 2011 and 2013… helped U-High win three consecutive Cornbelt Conference titles… played for coach Dusty Burk.

PERSONAL: Born October 4, 1994 in Normal… chosen as an Illinois State Scholar… worked on various school volunteer projects, including: Habitat for Humanity and Homes for Haiti… No. 1 sports highlight was landing a 61-yard punt on the two yard line during his last playoff game, and kicking extra points out of Illinois State’s stadium… Ryan Hoffman has been a major influence, “He spent hours upon hours of his own personal time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights just to work with me and even volunteered to be a coach at UHS last season.”… enjoys reading… favorite professional team is the Chicago Bears… favorite music group is the Red Hot Chili Peppers… son of Douglas and Jennifer Klein.
