Biography

FRESHMAN (2017): Appeared in all 12 games… finished with 16 tackles (9 solos)...5.5 for loss… 2.5 sacks…two quarterback hurries… one pass break-up forced a fumble, set a career-high three solo tackles and added two TFL’s at Coastal Carolina…recorded an 8 yard TFL and a pass break up at Indiana State… at North Dakota State set a career-high 9 yard TFL.

PERSONAL: His dad has been a major influence, “He has pushed me past my limits everyday.”… most admires his position coach at Whitehaven, Coach Harmon, “He has the ability to adjust the defense in a way where everyone on the field is efficient, and in a position to utilize their strong points.”… enjoys reading, sleeping, playing Xbox and basketball… favorite professional teams are the Los Angeles Lakers and Pittsburgh Steelers… favorite musician is Drake… son of Artavius Smith and Janniece Garner.
