SENIOR (2015): Honorable Mention All-MVFC... started in all 13 games... recorded 48 tackles, 8.0 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks... interception and two quarterback hurries... made five solo tackles, forced a fumble and recorded his first-ever interception in the win over Eastern Illinois... added 2.0 tackles for a loss, including a 5-yard sack against EIU... four assisted tackles at Illinois and broke up a pass... solo tackle at Coastal Carolina... three tackles, including a 2-yard TFL, against Southern Illinois... had four tackles, a pass break-up and two quarterback hurries against South Dakota... solo tackle at UNI... matched season-high of five tackles at Illinois State... five tackles versus Youngstown State... two assisted tackles at North Dakota State... made six tackles, including 1.5 for a loss, at Indiana State... five tackles against South Dakota State... recorded a 3-yard sack, and two tackles in all, at Dayton... five tackles, including 1.5 for a loss, in the playoff game at Illinois State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Despite missing half of his senior year due to an injury still led Notre Dame in sacks with seven... recorded 37 total tackles... went 9-3 and qualified for the state playoffs... missed most of his junior year with an injury... went 11-1 and won conference... sophomore year led the team in sacks as Notre Dame went 11-1 and won conference title... that year he joined the 850-lbs club, surpassing that combined weight in: bench, squat and clean lifts... recorded a safety, blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown and 45 tackles including 11 for a loss and six sacks... Honor Roll (3.0 GPA) in six semesters... played for coach Bill Connell.

PERSONAL: Born January 12, 1993 in Payson... brother of fellow Leatherneck Chip and younger brother of former starting offensive lineman Jimmy... No. 1 sports highlight was blocking a punt and running it back for a 13-yard touchdown... his family and friends have been a major influence, "They motivated me to be the best I can be."... most admires Minnesota Vikings standout and former Buck Buchanan Award winner Jared Allen, "He's a great defensive end who plays for the Vikings."... enjoys football and lifting... favorite professional team is the Minnesota Vikings... son of Mark and Karen Holtschlag.
