SOPHOMORE (2016): Played and started in the first nine games of the season at left guard... helped the team rank 12th nationally in time of possession, 20th in tackles for a loss allowed, 31st in sacks allowed and 32nd in total offense... unit recorded three 100-yard rushing games and six games of 300-plus yards passing.

FRESHMAN (2015): Played in 10 games as a true-freshman... saw time on the offensive line and special teams.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football, basketball and track/field… earned All-State honors twice, including First Team honors on both offense and defense… helped the football team win a district championship… Second Team All-Conference in basketball… placed eighth at the state track meet… played for coach Matt and Ronnie Hughes.

PERSONAL: Born June 2, 1997 in Iowa City, Iowa… No. 1 sports highlight was becoming district champions, first time in school history… his football coaches have been a major influence, “They taught me how to love the game and work harder at the same time.”… most admires NFL lineman Michael Oher, “His story is very inspirational.”… enjoys playing video games, drawing and hanging out with friends… favorite professional teams are Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals… son of George and Pam Wagner.
