Jason Enos

Jason Enos enters his second year at Western Illinois. He joined the Fighting Leathernecks in August 2014 and will serve as the defensive graduate assistant.

During the 2015 season, two defensive linemen earned Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honors (Kris Harley, Eddy Holtschlag), helping the Leathernecks advance to the FCS Playoffs for the first time in five years. In 2014, one lineman earned a spot on the MVFC All-Newcomer Team (Harley). The rushing defense ranked 28th nationally last year (139.1 ypg).
 
Enos worked at Southwest Minnesota State during the spring and summer before joining WIU. He was the offensive line coach at Presentation College (S.D.) during the 2013 season. The program, in just its third year of existence, won a high of five games.
 
For two seasons Enos played professional football, starting on the offensive line for the Wichita Wild of the Indoor Football League. He earned First Team All-IFL honors following the 2012 campaign.
 
Enos played at Winona State, was a four-year starter (right guard) and voted team captain in 2010.
 
He earned All-NSIC honors every season, and helped the Warriors win the outright title in 2007 and shared title in 2010. The 2007 squad advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs.
 
Enos received his bachelor’s degree in Professional Studies from Winona State in 2013.
