FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirted... named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football, basketball and track… twice named All-EKL at linebacker, including Second Team honors his senior year… set a record with 169 career tackles… K-Preps Class 5A All-State honors… voted team captain... played for coach Scott Wright. 

PERSONAL: Born September 21, 1995 in St. Louis, Missouri… participated in a Polar Plunge fundraiser at school to fight cancer… No. 1 sports highlight was beating a rival team on their senior night on a last second field goal… his three older brothers have been a major influence, “They have been my mentor since I was born and I respect them all very much.”… most admires his HS coach Scott Wright, “He is such a great man and really cares about me and my teammates. He is a great teacher of life.”… his older brother Brett is a member of the UNI football team… enjoys basketball, music, reading, running and winning football games… favorite professional teams are: Oklahoma City Thunder, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and Chicago Blackhawks… favorite music is the Beatles, Kendrick Lamar and Alicia Keys… son of Matt McMakin and Lisa Culliton.
