HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football, wrestling and track/field… two times selected All-Conference in football… twice a unanimous pick as First Team center… All-State honors in football... named All-State team captain… played for coach Casey Martin… in wrestling qualified for Sectionals and State. 

PERSONAL: Born February 10, 1996 in Galesburg… No. 1 sports highlight was making it to the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs last fall… everyone who told him that he couldn’t do it has been a major influence in his sports career, “It made me want to succeed more.”… most admires Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt, “Walk-ons can still succeed even if not on a scholarship and hard work pays off.”… enjoys 4-wheeling, tractor pulling and playing football… favorite professional team is the Chicago Bears… favorite musician is Eric Church… son of Christopher and Christina Jostes.
