Biography

FIFTH-YEAR (2021): Spent his final season again working as the Leathernecks' primary punter...started in all 11 games... registered 64 punts for 2,585 yards, as both those totals ranked third-best in the Missouri Valley Football Conference... longest kick was 70 yards in the last game of his career, which ties at the eighth spot within the program's single-game records... made punts of 50 yards or more in five separate showings... punted nine times for 365 yards at Montana (Sept. 11).

SENIOR (2020-21): Missouri Valley Football Conference Preseason Honorable Mention ... MVFC Academic Honor Roll ... appeared in all six games … posted 36 total punts for 1,479 yards…ranked 6th in the MVFC and 19th in the nation in yards per punt (41.1) … landed 15 punts inside the 20 and had six of 50-plus yards … kicked a career-long 71 yard punt against North Dakota which ranks seventh longest in school history

JUNIOR (2019): Phil Steele All-MVFC Third Team ... MVFC Honorable Mention finished 18th in the nation (third in the MVFC) averaging 42.5 yards per punt ...managed eight touchbacks, 21 inside the 20, and 13 for 50+ yards ... booted a punt 64 yards in the season-finale at Northern Iowa 

SOPHOMORE (2018): Played in all 11 games… punted the ball 59 times for an average of 40.93… totaled career-high 2415 yards… booted a season-high 58 yarder at Montana State… had nine punts versus Illinois State totaling for 407 yards with a long of 55.

R-FRESHMAN (2017): Played in all 12 games…. averaged 41.4 yards on five punts in his collegiate debut at Tennessee Tech… booted a 55-yarder and landed one punt inside the 20-yard line…punted four times at Northern Arizona and averaged 42.2 yards per punt, putting one inside the 20…averaged 50.0 yards on three punts at Coastal Carolina… landed one inside the 20-yards line… seven punts for an average of 35.4 yards against South Dakota… punted eight times for a 33.8 average and a long of 46 at Northern Iowa. Placed three punts inside the 20… four punts for a 39.2 average of 40.3 yards at North Dakota State…recorded three punts inside the 20 and two of at least 50 yards… against South Dakota State punted five times for a 32.0 average and one inside the 20…. Recorded five punts for a 44.2 average at Illinois State and pinned one inside the 20… knocked a punt for 40 yards at Indiana State… blasted a career-long 62-yard punt and totaled six punts for a 33.7 average against Southern Illinois with two punts inside the 20… recorded six punts for a 35.67 average and pinning two inside the 20.

FRESHMAN (2016): Redshirted

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football... All-District, All-Area and All-Conference honors as a punter his senior year... averaged 42 yards per punt, kicking a season-long 77-yarder... earned a 5-star rating by Kohl's Kicking and was ranked 37th nationally by the organization... played for coach Chad Depee.

PERSONAL: Born October 1, 1997... most admires Steve Weatherford, "No matter how tough situations in life got he fought through to achieve his dream."... credits God as a major influence in his sports career, "Always showing me the way by opening doors to many great opportunitiets and blessing me with a supportive family."... enjoys water and snow skiing, outdoors and sporting events... favorite professional teams are: St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, and Miami Heat... son of Karl Fellner and Saundra Resch.
