SENIOR (2012-13): Finished the spring season with a 2-15 singles record and 2-13 doubles mark... picked up victories at No. 2 singles against Chicago State and IUPUI... defeated opponents from Omaha and Fort Wayne in doubles action.
JUNIOR (2011-12): All-Summit League selection... went 7-12 overall in the spring at the No. 1 singles position... compiled a 3-2 record at No. 1 singles in Summit League play... posted a 7-10 record at No. 1 doubles with Ben Yue and an 0-2 record at No. 1 doubles with Mandela Shepard.
SOPHOMORE (2010-11): All-Summit League selection... went 10-12 overall during the spring including a 9-2 record at No. 3 singles... earned Summit League 'Player of the Week' honors on March 29 after compiling a 4-0 record in singles play during the opening week of league competition... finished the season with nine wins in his final 10 matches... posted a 4-3 record at No. 3 doubles with Ben Yue, a 5-8 record at No. 1 singles with Jeff Cote and a 1-0 record at No. 1 singles with Francisco Ortiz.
FRESHMAN (2009-10): Went 6-4 at No. 4 singles, contributing to a 9-9 spring record... went 2-2 in the No. 2 singles flight... recorded a 1-1 Summit League record at No. 4 singles... paired with teammate Mandela Shepard for a 3-1 doubles record, going undefeated (3-0) on the No. 3 court... also went undefeated (2-0) with Francisco Ortiz at No. 3 doubles... earned Summit League Player of the Week honors for the week of 4/20/10.
HIGH SCHOOL: Joined the Leathernecks after finishing his high school career at LaSalle-Peru High School... four time All-State selection (third team in 2009, third team in 2008, second team in 2007 and honorable mention in 2006)... four-time Sectional title winner (2006-09)... ranked as high as the ninth-best tennis player his senior year in the state according to www.Tennisrecruiting.net.
PERSONAL: Was ranked as high as No. 43 USTA Midwest Section, Boys’ 18s Singles ranking and a No. 1 USTA Northern Illinois District, Boys’ 18s Singles ranking... held a No. 20 USTA Midwest Section, Boys’ 18s Doubles ranking in June 2008.
