HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time swimming honor roll member as selected by the Peoria Journal-Star... Earned two varsity letters while participating in track and field at Richwoods High School... Member of the National Honor Society and has received five certificates in Lamp of Learning... Credits her high school swimming coach, Lynn Thompson, as having a major influence on her athletic career because she "is not only just a coach to me, but she is also a second mom. She always pushes me to do my best not only in the pool, but with life in general. She has taught me to become a better young lady, student and athlete."
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kevin and Lisa... Chose Western Illinois because after her initial visit, she "loved the campus, Coach Naumann and the swim team, and I really felt as if it would be a great fit for me..." Enjoys babysitting and hanging out with family and friends... Works as a lifeguard and swim coach during the summer.
