AT NORTH DAKOTA: Last year, posted a pair of top-5 results against South Dakota State in the 50-free (23.07) for fourth place... fifth-place finish in the same meet for the 200-free with a time of 1:47.36.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in swimming... Section Swimmer of the Year... one time All-State... two time All-Conference...member of Minnesota State Champions 2014...
PERSONAL: Born August 19, 1998 in Wayzata Minnesota.... No. 1 sports highlight was swimming the 200-free at club state his junior yuear of high school... his father has been a major influence, "he has bee with me every step of the way."... most admires cyclist Lance Armstrong because of the way he fought his cancer... enjoys playing basketball, listening to music and spending time with family... favorite sports teams are the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Carolina Panthers... favorite musician is Knedrick Lamar... son of Tom and Armetha Pihlstrom.
