JUNIOR (2017): Played in all 12 games…finished with five tackles (2 solo)… made his first collegiate start at Tennessee Tech…assisted on a tackle…recorded one tackle at Coastal Carolina…matched a career-high with two tackles at Northern Iowa… made a tackle at Illinois state.

SOPHOMORE (2016): MVFC Academic Honor Roll... Played in all 11 games... made two tackles and shared on a tackle for loss at Eastern Illinois, his first game appearance... assisted tackle at Missouri State... solo tackle at South Dakota.

CAREER-HIGH TACKLES: 2 at EASTERN ILLINOIS (9/1/16)

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2015): Did not see any game action.

FRESHMAN (2014): Redshirted... named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in basketball, volleyball, lacrosse and football… named Academic All-West Suburban Conference… team advanced to the quarterfinal round two years in a row… played for coach John Wander. 

PERSONAL: Born August 28, 1995… volunteers at the Loyola University Medical Center and at the Ronald McDonald’s Children Center… No. 1 sports highlight was beating Wheaton Warrenville South 10-7 in the second round of the Class 7A state playoffs… Bob Pinelli has been a major influence, “He had always told me that being big is a good thing. He was my first defensive line coach.”… most admires Houston Texans’ J.J. Watt, “For his amazing work ethic.”… his sister plays Division I volleyball at Green Bay… enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active, playing cards and eating… favorite professional team is the Chicago Bears… favorite music is Eminem, Beach Boys and The XX… son of Steve and Marilyn Kasal.
