Biography

JUNIOR (2018): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Started in six games and made nine appearances as a pinch hitter... Finished the season hitting .240 at the plate with six hits, including one RBI and a triple... Finished with a slugging percentage of .320 and .269 on-base percentage… Tallied her only RBI of the season on a pinch hit triple against Murray State on March 17.

SOPHOMORE (2017): Summit League Academic Honor Roll... Played in 49 total games, starting 39 of them... Finished the season hitting .258 at the plate with 33 total hits, including two doubles, two home runs and a triple... She also drove in eight runs and scored 14 runs... Had a total of seven multi-hit games... She sent 4-for-4 at Fort Wayne (April 9) with one RBI, two runs scored, and a home run... Two game later at Mizzou she had her second best game of the season going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a double.

FRESHMAN (2016): Summit League Spring Academic Honor Roll... Started 40 games in the outfield and as a designated player... Appeared in 46 games... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in her debut against Green Bay (Feb. 12)... Hit her first career home run against Bowling Green (Mar. 18) and went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored... Hit her first career double against Drake (Feb. 14)... Had five multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games... Ended the year fourth on the team in batting average (.265), runs scored (17), slugging percentage (.356) and hits (35)... Tied for third on the team with six doubles... Tied for second on the team with two home runs... Recorded a fielding percentage of .966 with 27 putouts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Compton raised her batting average from .231 her sophomore season to .350 her junior season with two home runs. She hit three home runs in one game, a moment she lists as her most memorable while playing softball. Compton was named Honorable Mention All-Hamilton County. The Noblesville, Indiana native was a member of a Noblesville team that finished third in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference in 2012 and 2013 before finishing fifth in 2014.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Tim and Krista Compton... Played on the Indiana Shockwaves travel team.
