SOPHOMORE (2016): Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference... MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award... MVFC Honor Roll... second on team with 88 tackles (46 solos)... added 6.0 TFL, 2.0 sacks... two fumble recoveries, an interception and five quarterback hurries... started in all 11 games... made four tackles at Eastern Illinois... registered a career-high nine tackles (six solos), including 1.5 for a loss and 1.0 sacks versus Northern Arizona. He also blocked an extra point attempt and recorded a quarterback hurry... four tackles at Northern Illinois... team-leading nine tackles at South Dakota State, which matched his career-high, and had a quarterback hurry... set a new career-high with 10 tackles against Indiana State (8 solos) and had a quarterback hurry... for third straight game set a career-high in tackles, finishing with a team-high 14 stops, including one for a loss, and his first-ever interception at Missouri State... four tackles and a quarterback hurry against North Dakota State... made 12 tackles, including 3.0 for a loss (21 yards) and a sack, at South Dakota. HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football three times… twice named All-Conference… All-Marion County honors his final two seasons… IFCA Top 50 All-State football team… selected team MVP and defensive MVP… senior year recorded 127 tackles (80 solos), two interceptions, four sacks, four tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two touchdowns… twice football team won sectional championship… played for coach Derek Moyers.

PERSONAL: Born February 16, 1997 in Indianapolis, Indiana… volunteered with Young Men of Purpose and community service with St. Vincent Football performance… No. 1 sports highlight was a one-handed pick-6 on ESPN versus Carmel HS his junior year… his father has been a major influence, “He has taught me many aspects of my game. His influence has led me to be the player I am today.”… most admires former NFL linebacker Ray Lewis, “I admire his game and the fact that he was a great team leader. I feel he was one of the best linebackers to ever play the game.”… his father played football at North Carolina and with the Indianapolis Colts in 1985… enjoys playing Madden, card games and basketball… favorite professional team is the Baltimore Ravens… favorite musician is Dom Kennedy… son of Micah Moon and Kelly Moon.
