2016-17 (SENIOR): Academic All-Summit League... averaged 75.6 per round... season-low 69 twice during the fall season - third round at Murray State and second round the following weekend at SIUE... finished four straight tournaments with a final round of 72 then three straight 71s.
2015-16 (JUNIOR): All-Summit League Second Team... Academic All-League Team... Finished the season second on the team and 10th in The Summit League with a 74.81 stroke average... Participated in all of the team's 12 events (37 total rounds) and had a team-best five 'Top 10' finishes... Best finish of the year was third in the Beu/Mussatto Invitational (April 15-16) with a 217 (70-72-75)... Best three-round score of the year was a 207 (69-69-69) in the APSU Intercollegiate (Oct. 19-20)... Finished second on the team in stroke average with a 77.56... Golfed in all 12 events, totaling 34 rounds... Best two-round score was a 152 (78-74) in the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate (Sept. 14-15)... Best three-round score was a 219 (73-74-72) in the NYX Hoosier Invitational (April 11-12)... Best finished was 5th with a 222 (72-74-76) in the John Dallio Memorial (Oct. 4-5).
2013-14 (FRESHMAN): 2014 Summit League Spring Academic Honor Roll (Distinguished Scholar)... Golfed in all 12 events, 34 rounds, and finished the season with a 76.74 stroke average, which ranked second on the team... His season-best three-round score was 220, which he did twice... First at the Murray State Invitational (73-75-72) on Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 2013, and then again at the Moe O'Brien Intercollegiate (71-76-79) on Feb. 24-25, 2014... Best two-round score was at the Benbow Invitational where he fired a 149 (71-78). Best finish of the year came at the UNO Maverick Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 8-9, 2013) where he finished 11th with a 231 (80-73-78).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-State honors... Four-time all-conference golfer... Captain of Sterling High School golf team... Also earned four letters in swimming.
PERSONAL: Born November 23, 1994... Son of Bryan and Amy Blackburn... Top personal sports highlight was shooting a 66 at regionals as a junior... Father, Bryan, has been a major influence in his sports career because he makes sure he never loses focus... Admires his high school swimming coach, Bob Ptak, because he taught discipline and life skills... Hobbies include fishing, golfing, and going to country concerts... Favorite artist is Toby Keith.
